What is moDesktop?

moDesktop is a virtual desktop manager for Microsoft Windows. You can use up to 1024 different desktops (even though it's not recommended, because of performance reasons). You can also give your desktops different names and hotkeys.

Is it really free?

Yes, it's totally true.

Why doesn't it support `<insert_feature_here>`

Please remember that moDesktop is created as one of my hobbies, I don't get paid to make it. As an hobby, it's basicly always under development, which means that it gets new features all the time.

If you think you have a great idea, post it in the forums and I'll think about it.

moDesktop tells me that I don't have a default-wallpaper, what should I do?

For some reason the wallpapers in the moDesktop folder have dissappeared. The easiest way to solve this is reinstalling moDesktop (without uninstalling it).

moDesktop tells me that I have too many/less desktops?

moDesktops supports 1 to 1024 desktops. If you in some way have less than one or more than 1024, you can change this pretty easily.

Press Win+R to open the Run-dialog. Write %AppData% and press Return.
Open the Arood Online folder, and then the moDesktop folder.
Open settings.ini in Notepad or any editor you prefer.
Find a line that begins with count, and change the value to the amount of desktops you want. I recommend less than 30, by preformance reasons.
Save the file and start moDesktop.
If it didn't work, remove settings.ini, moDesktop will create a new one.

Some windows won't stay on their desktops?

That's is a well known issue. It's probably because some windows for some reason doesn't count as "windows" and therefore won't be affected by moDesktop.

It can also be because a window was opened when moDesktop was still starting or changing desktop. This issue will automaticly be solved after switching some desktops, or by reopening the window.

I heard there's an easteregg in moDesktop, where can I find it?

That's a secret for me to know and for you to find out ;D

How much adware, spyware and viruses are included?

None actually. All software created by Arood Online is free from all kinds of crap, like adware, spyware and viruses. However, I still recommend that you have an anti-spyware and anti-virus software installed on computer if our files would get infected in some way.
